Learning To Look Downstream

Recently in rural Victoria we have been able to get back to face to face interactions and what a blessing that is. What I am finding is that, like the ‘stuck on a rock’ analogy, many people are stationary. Forced into immobility due to fear, uncertainty, or exhaustion.

This recent article by experienced outdoor educator, commercial river guide and colleague, Ron Jungalwalla, is a reminder that we can all be our own ’instructors’.

It is certain that there will be a recovery. Let’s take advantage of this pause.”

Once we are freed from the ‘rocks’, those who will recover successfully will have spent the time and energy during the current crisis in planning and preparing for this day.”
